Cyclogenesis
Dam: SGCH CRF Castle Rock Blizzard VEEE 91
Sire: CRF Castle Rock Harvest Moon
Cisco was reserved for 3 years before we finally got him, and he was well worth the wait! That same year, the daughter of his full sister (Snownamie), Flash Flood took the ADGA National Championship!
He has improved many things in our herd, most notably udder height! All of his kids are super dairy, and have great udder texture as well.
We have kept sooo many kids from Cisco, that it was time to let him move on! We retained a beautiful buck out of him to line breed with our girls in the future! Check him out here GraceRidge CG Bereishit!
Bray
Dam: Pippin Hill MB Milly LA 89
Sire: Castle Rock Cyclogenesis LA 89
Bray's name is the first word in the Hebrew bible. It means "In the beginning". This a Cyclogenesis son, Genesis being the first book in the Christian bible and one in the same! We hope Bray will carry on in Cisco's place here and be "one in the same" too! Although (as my husband tells me) it looks like bear s**t, the name is actually pronounced Beh-reh-sheet.
Bray's dam has so many things I'd love to pass to my herd. She has excellent teat placement, and large easy to milk teats with very good orfices, that allow her to milk out super fast!
She also has a very level rump from thurl to thurl, and good width!
Pleiades
Dam: Trinity Ridge RT Sassafras LA91
Sire: Castle Rock Sunset LA91
We are so thrilled with Pleiades! His Dam appraised at 91 as an 8 year old and is going strong! At 7 she scored a 37 in udder height, and a 35 in arch! She also scored a 36 in fore udder attachment! This is just what we want to add to our herd! His sire Also scored a 91, and has added great rump structure to his kids over at Pippin Hill Farm.
